Sales and Event Coordinator
At our luxury lifestyle hotel in Lisbon, we're seeking a skilled Sales and Event Coordinator to join our pre-opening team. As a key member of the commercial services team, you'll be responsible for negotiating and contracting groups and events at the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate and contract groups and events at the hotel
* Manage and coordinate all group bookings from inquiry to post-departure, ensuring seamless communication and service
* Liaise with internal departments to meet group requirements and expectations
* Builde strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and corporate partners to encourage repeat business
* Monitor group performance, provide reports, and contribute to revenue growth through upselling and strategic planning
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
* Experience: Proven 2 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality
* Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, customer-focused attitude
* Languages: Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus
