VIA Outlets manages a portfolio of 13 premium fashion outlets, offering over 1,430 stores across nine European countries and is 100% owned by Dutch pension fund asset manager APG.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR In your role, reporting to the RD Director, you will be responsible to support and execute the centre retail developments strategy with a strong emphasis on supporting brands during construction projects and engaging them on improving the quality of their shop fits. This RD Intern creates and implements all interior design projects for Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet to generate the best experience for our guests.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRepresents the Retail Development Department within Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet to elevate the experience within the stores and the outdoor environment through an uncompromising attention to detail and standards for our Guests, Brands and staff.Coordinate Brand inductions and briefings related to shop‐fits;Monitor shop‐fit quality to achieve progressive higher standards;Engage brands implementing sustainability principles;Ensure that interna! works are executed by brands in accordance with FLFO internal regulations and local government regulations;Ensure that Brands comply with statutory requests from FLFO management and local authorities on warranties, insurance, permits, and local tire regulations;Facilitate effective communication systems with all contractors, project managers, and maintenance suppliers and monitor progress of works on‐site, to ensure work schedule is adhered toEnsure that the RD process is managed efficiently and that project management of any given shop fit and/or special project through construction is accomplished within the given timelines:Coordinate fit‐out process for new openings and re‐merchandising/re‐fit programmes for existing stores.Ensure that proper and complete information is issued by brands to FLFO for approval of plans, samples, etc.Manage feedback on shop‐fit plans to brands in coordination with other Departments.Follow‐up snagging with brands at completion of each project and ensure they submit all relevant post‐completion documents on time.Coordinate temporary fit‐outs for existing brands or tenants on temporary leases.Schedule all brand visits in coordination with other departments.Facilitate the acquisition of services, if needed, from local utility companies in coordination with other Departments.Devise new systems and procedures in accordance with management for the shop‐fit process and improve those already existing.Liaise with the Retail, Operations and Legal Departments on all shop‐fit related issues.Develop sketch schemes for brands to be approved, procured, and project‐managed on site from inception to completion when needed.Organise conference calls with other teams and management when needed.WHAT YOU NEEDOngoing studies in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Civil Construction, or a related field.Strong interest in retail development, construction coordination, or project support roles.Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit is a plus, but not required).Willingness to learn and support project management tasks in a dynamic environment.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders.Proactive mindset with a hands‐on attitude and willingness to take initiative.Comfortable working in a matrix organisation and collaborating with multiple departments.Good command of English and Portuguese (spoken and written).Positive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to grow within the team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
