We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our IT team in Braga, Portugal. In this role, you will work on-site and be responsible for managing Service Desk operations using various logging tools to handle, track, resolve, or escalate incidents, requests, and changes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing local and remote IT support to end users;
* Monitoring and following up on registered tickets to ensure end-to-end SLA compliance;
* Maintaining accurate records of all interactions with customers.
You will work closely with the IT department to identify and resolve technical issues, provide training and guidance to colleagues, and contribute to the development of process improvements.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of IT principles and technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Our ideal candidate has:
* A degree in Computer Science or related field;
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar role;
* Advanced user-level experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems;
* Familiarity with remote access tools;
* Experience in supporting local networks;
* Proficiency in Office 365;
* Experience using ServiceNow;
* Availability for on-site work in Braga.
