The Engineering Manager will lead a team to develop innovative platform services for the transportation domain at Trimble. These services will seamlessly integrate with Trimble's Cloud core platform services and offer transportation platform APIs for various transportation products and applications. As we establish new teams and develop new platform services, our forward-thinking approach aims to build a robust foundation for Trimble's transportation products. We offer a dynamic environment that encourages exploration and innovation with next-gen technologies to address the evolving needs of the industry.
What You Will Do
1. Lead and manage a high-performing team of product managers and software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
2. Drive the successful development and adoption of new products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
3. Collaborate with product managers to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and drive execution.
4. Make sharp, informed decisions to address challenges, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely delivery.
5. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication of goals, progress, and results.
6. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics to continuously refine product strategies and enhance outcomes.
7. Create a positive and inclusive team culture that inspires creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

* A product mindset is key to this position.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate high-performing distributed teams in the development of B2B SaaS products or services. eCommerce experience is beneficial.
* Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive results.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
