IHP EUROPE COMPARATIVE PUBLIC HEALTH: PERSPECTIVES, PRACTICES, & POLICIES
IHP Europe Comparative Public Health is a multi-country program that provides a comparative, interdisciplinary exploration of public health and well-being across three European countries, grounded in the overarching goals of the European Health Union and the EU4Health program.
Students will engage deeply with core topics in epidemiology, infectious disease surveillance and response, and determinants of health.
The curriculum is designed around inquiry-based learning, blending academic coursework with experiential opportunities such as field research, simulations, and visits to healthcare agencies, NGOs, and public health institutions.
IHP's learning model is grounded in critical inquiry and analysis but attempts to bring those skills to bear on particular places and themes.
It also helps students learn how to interact with a variety of local actors representing different perspectives, practices, and policies around public health in Europe.
