We are looking for aSenior SAP EHS PRC Developerto join a project in the Automotive Tech sector.
Work setup:Hybrid – Porto – 2 days on-site per week
Responsibilities:
Develop and customize SAP EHS PRC functionalities using ABAP and related technologies
Implement enhancements for specification management, compliance checks, and SDS generation
Design and develop interfaces between SAP PRC, SAP ERP, PLM, and external regulatory content providers, including IMDS, CAMDS, CDX, and IDS
Ensure reliable data exchange through IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and web services
Configure compliance rules, data models, and workflows in SAP PRC to support regulatory requirements such as REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and EU POP
Analyze and optimize system performance for compliance-related processes
Prepare technical specifications, perform unit testing, support UAT, and maintain technical documentation
Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, compliance teams, and external vendors across international teams
Must-have requirements:
5+ years of proven experience as an SAP EHS PRC Developer
Strong expertise in ABAP development, including object-oriented ABAP
Hands-on experience with SAP EHS(M) Product and Reach Compliance (PRC)
Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environments
Experience with integration technologies such as IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and Web Services
Understanding of compliance data structures, including specifications and material master
Good understanding of global material-substance compliance regulations such as REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and EU POP
Fluent English, both written and spoken
