Job Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our QA Team. You will be part of a product team working for one of the world's largest investment banks. We need an aspiring and creative test leader to join our mobile development group. You will be responsible for testing one of the most awarded mobile trading terminals globally, with the goal of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
1. Act as a subject matter expert and leader for the testing group.
2. Design and implement reliable, agile testing practices.
3. Participate in product planning, grooming, and management.
4. Promote best testing practices within the project team.
5. Evaluate, monitor, and report testing progress to stakeholders.
6. Support team growth and development as engineers.
Qualifications
Must-have skills:
* Proactive attitude towards problem solving and leadership by example.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
* Knowledge of modern testing methodologies, concepts, and practices.
* 4+ years of relevant experience (e.g., Senior QA Automation Engineer, Lead QA Engineer, Test Lead, or Test Manager).
* Advanced experience in mobile testing, including OS guidelines, UI/UX principles, OS architecture, app distribution systems, device management, performance, and crash analytics, as well as CI/CD.
* Experience with Agile practices and ceremonies, with certifications preferred.
* Empathy and collaboration skills as key leadership tools.
Nice-to-have skills:
* Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, etc.).
* Background in FinTech testing or trading.
* Knowledge or certification in Accessibility (A11y).
* Experience in hiring and mentoring.
