Job Position – EU Project Communication Consultant
Required:
* Master’s degree in Media, Communication, International Relations or relevant equivalent experience;
* Minimum 3 years of experience in EU funded projects (HE, H2020, CEF-Transport, LIFE, among others) in the field of communication and dissemination, and EU funded project management
* Excellent English and Portuguese written and oral skills
* Attention to detail and good writing skills
* Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace related tools;
* Excellent knowledge of use and management of communication tools (Wordpress, Mailchimp, Canva, Google Analytics)
* Strong competences in social media (Linkedin, X, Instagram, etc.) management and monitoring;
* Good analytical and organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and respect tight deadlines.
* Strong self-motivation, communication and proven networking skills;
* Working experience in multi-cultural, multi-lingual and multi-disciplinary environments.
Preferential Factors:
* Proficiency in French or Italian is a plus;
* Knowledge of Google Workspace Tools
* Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere)
* Experience in large scale conferences’ communication and organisation.
* Availability to initiate in July 2025
Main Duties:
The communication consultant will contribute to the long-term communication strategy consistent with the company’s vision and goals and ad hoc communication strategies and plans for EU projects & proposals, as well as communication service contracts.
In addition, he/she will be in charge of preparing communication reports, press releases, marketing materials, and also defining and implementing website contents and managing social media, and event organization.
More specifically, he/she will:
* Draft and prepare communication, dissemination and exploitation work packages in EU funding proposals and service proposals;
* Develop, implement and monitor EU project’s communication and dissemination strategy and activities in collaboration with the team;
* Draft Policy and R&D recommendations, practitioner guidelines and other exploitation tools;
* Oversee the planning, the editing, the production and dissemination of contract/project results including public outreach materials such as website, social media, press relations, digital and printed materials;
* Oversee the logistics of events, conferences, workshops, demonstrations, showcases;
* Ensure and encourage sound technical & scientific dissemination of project activities through the production of technical and scientific papers by project consortium members;
* Ensures liaison with other relevant activities and large events.
