Job Description: Responsibilities - your missionResponsibilities - your mission (see guiding questions below)
1. Support the Project Manager for industrializing Chromate, Lead, and Basic Primer replacements for Airbus Defence & Space (VERUSs programme)
* Lead specific Work Packages (WPs) and provide Project Management Office (PMO) support, reporting progress and following PMO guidelines.
* Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality industrialization of these replacement projects.
* Manage project risks and opportunities.
* Collaborate with programme representatives to define the replacement strategy.
* Drive decisions from Research &Transformation to final implementation and provide input for future R&T development of Chromate alternatives.
* Coordinate a cross-functional project team (Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Chief Engineering).
* Liaise with Airbus Commercial and Airbus Helicopters to ensure group synergies.
* Act as the main contact for the programme representatives, participating in relevant forums.
* Report progress on substance replacement and assist in preparing the project Steering Committee.
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have
* You are passionate about Airbus D&S products and the environment
o You have previous experience in project manager. Being certified in PMP will act as differentiator.
o You have a degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Industrial engineering
o You have previous experience in procurement, manufacturing engineering, design office or materials and processes. Experience in multiple domains will act as differentiator.
o Experience in aerospace or Airbus divisions will be a differentiator.
o You have good analytical abilities and structured way of working
o You have good presentation skills
o You have good negotiation skills
o You can work in an European team environment and are willing to travel regularly
o Languages: English at negotiation Ievel, additional languages (i.e. German, Spanish, French, Portuguese) are a plus
