Above all, we are focused on delivering first class projects, executed efficiently, without compromising on safety or quality.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate the procurement, transportation, and storage of construction materials and equipment. Ensure materials arrive on-site in a timely manner to avoid project delays. Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records. Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to streamline logistics. Oversee the scheduling and routing of transportation for materials and workers. Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams. Develop and implement site logistics plans to optimize workflow. Ensure storage areas are organized and accessible. Ensure logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Secure necessary permits for material transportation and site access. Manage logistics budgets, tracking expenses related to transportation and storage. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining efficiency. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and transport providers.Skills and Experience Required: CSCS card. Engineering Degree / HNC or similar in a construction disciple. SMSTS/SSSTS desired. Experience in handling and management of subcontractors and suppliers in all aspects, particularly detail of Quality Assurance and client certification. Ability to work with logistics and construction teams to maintain delivery schedule. Ability to communicate at all levels. Must be hands on with strong change environment nature, ability to embed continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure Health and Safety and Quality is at the forefront on daily activity. Good knowledge and practical experience of planning and organising deliveries to/ from sites
