This interim assignment will support accounting and reporting activities within our client's Finance Centre of Excellence, contributing to foundational operational tasks. The role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting processes, documentation maintenance and daily collaboration with senior accountants.
Description
Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with documentation required by the accounting team.
Provide administrative and organisational support to senior accountants and internal stakeholders.
Perform daily operational tasks such as Accounts Payable reconciliations, purchase-to-pay analysis, accruals, and Travel & Expenses reviews.
Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
Participate in improvement initiatives across finance processes.
Work closely with more senior team members to develop accounting knowledge and contribute to quality-assurance activities.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
1-2+ years of experience in accounting or a relevant internship.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and strong attention to detail.
Good Excel skills and fluency in English.
Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a collaborative team setting.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Navision, PHC, Primavera, etc.) is an advantage but not mandatory.
