Bar Manager

Mission
Ensure full management of bar operations, delivering high service standards, profitability and alignment with Hyatt brand standards.
Lead the bar team with a focus on guest experience, operational efficiency and product consistency, positioning the bar as a reference within the hotel's F&B offering.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring flow, organization and compliance with standards.
Ensure service excellence, with focus on quality, detail and consistency.
Monitor service levels and act proactively on deviations.
Lead, motivate and develop the bar team, fostering a high-performance environment.
Ensure continuous training, including product knowledge, service techniques and upselling.
Manage schedules, rosters and operational needs efficiently.
Conduct performance reviews and individual development plans.
Ensure budget compliance (revenue, payroll and operating costs).
Monitor key indicators (revenue, average check, productivity, beverage cost).
Control costs (beverage cost, waste, breakage, extras) to ensure profitability.
Ensure proper stock management, inventories and ordering processes.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and beverage partners.
Identify revenue opportunities (upselling, promotions, new concepts).
Ensure a consistent and engaging guest experience aligned with brand positioning.
Maintain a visible presence on the floor, interacting with guests.
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvement actions.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards and internal policies.
Ensure alignment with Hyatt standards and audit requirements.
Implement and maintain bar procedures and service standards.
Contribute to the development of beverage menus and concepts.
Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure consistency across outlets.
Monitor market trends and introduce relevant innovations.
Support events, activations and commercial initiatives.
Analyze performance and propose improvements.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in hospitality.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
A hands-on approach and passion for delivering outstanding service.
Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
