$100,800.00 - $187,200.00
At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible forequity grants,discretionary bonuses,orcommission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

Title: Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Computer Scientist/Engineer role
Location: Remote
The Candidate will work for the CTO organization and
1. Partner / collaborate with other groups, including:
Engineering, PLM, Sales, Customers and Partners
2. Define, Architect, and lead/build the development of AI / ML-based solutions that will drive value-added features to our Enterprise, Service Provider, and hyperscale customers, including internal teams.
3. The focus will be on algorithms, models, and solutions for large data sets, enabling intelligent, automated applications and platform development.
4. Define solutions via pseudo-code or proof of concept coding.
The Candidate will possess strong technical proficiency, soft skills, and Optical/networking/telecom domain knowledge, which is a plus.
Technical skills include and are not limited too:
5. Machine Learning Algorithms and Techniques: Supervised, Unsupervised, and reinforced learning algorithms
6. Deep Learning Architectures: CNNs, RNNs, GANs and transformers
7. Programming languages: Python, Java, Go, R, …
8. SW architecture development practices
9. Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, … and other frameworks
10. Data manipulating libraries: NumPy, pandas, SciPy, ….
11. Data analysis and visualization tools
12. Solid foundation in statistical and Mathematical analysis
13. Big Data Technologies: Hadoop, Spark, ….
14. Working with cloud platforms both from deploying and managing in public and private clouds as well as utilizing AI cloud services
