Application Support Engineer
We are looking for anApplication Support Engineerto join our application support team.
You will develop bothtechnical and functional expertise, handle support for assigned applications, proactively manage incidents, identify solutions to recurring issues, continuously improve and automate procedures, maintain up-to-date documentation, and coordinate closely with the development team.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage and resolveproduction incidentseffectively.
Follow-up and coordinatechanges and technical operations(e.g., electrical shutdowns, server modes).
Participate inchange managementfor applications and infrastructure, collaborating with development, sysadmin, DBA, and networking teams.
Maintaindocumentationup-to-date, including architecture, procedures, and supervision requirements.
Managebackup dataand perform regularrestore tests.
Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance withSLAsacross all business lines.
Controlapplication load capacityand performance.
Participate in theon-call systemand off-hours interventions.
Contribute tocontinuous improvement and automationof existing procedures.
Collaborate with development teams to define thearchitecture of new applications, following infrastructure standards.
Main Technical Requirements
Minimum3 years' experiencein a similar role.
Strong knowledge ofLinux and Windows environmentsand systems administration.
Experience withBMC/Control-Mor other industrial schedulers.
Good knowledge ofscripting languages: Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell.
Experience withapplication servers: JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS.
Experience withdatabases: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and/or MySQL; basic SQL knowledge.
Experience withinfrastructure backups.
Experience withmonitoring tools(e.g., Zabbix, Grafana).
Knowledge ofLDAP, Firewall, Reverse Proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos.
Knowledge ofcontainer-based infrastructure.
Basicnetworking knowledge.
Other Requirements
English proficiency:minimum B2.
