Job Overview
An Assistant Food and Drinks Manager assists in managing the operations of all Food and Drinks outlets to ensure an excellent Guest and Member experience. This role involves staff training, working within budget guidelines, and supporting the Food and Drinks Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Food and Drinks outlets operations
- Maintain high customer service standards
- Recruit, manage, train, and develop team members
- Participate in staff appraisals
- Manage guest queries efficiently
- Work within budgeted guidelines
- Assist in setting departmental targets, work schedules, and policies
- Develop menus collaboratively
- Conduct monthly stock takes
- Incentivize team to maximize sales and revenue
- Deputize for the Food and Drinks Manager when needed
- Ensure compliance with security, fire, health, and safety regulations
- Support other departments and maintain good relationships
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous management or supervisory experience in Food and Drinks
- Knowledge of financial systems
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong customer service orientation
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Excellent grooming standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to develop team members and oneself
- Degree in a relevant field
