The Opportunity
You're the person everyone comes to for reports in your finance or accounting team. You've built substantial solutions, often on your own initiative, but lack the environment, resources, or time to become a true expert. You understand the business pain of manual reporting and late data delivery because you've lived it. You see the potential of modern BI but can't fully leverage it where you are.
We're offering the chance to transition from being "the reporting person" to becoming a Power BI expert. You'll work on diverse client projects, develop professional-grade skills, and build solutions at scale—with proper mentorship and growth support.
The Role
Build Power BI solutions for client finance and accounting projects. Work with businesses facing the same reporting challenges you've experienced. Develop your technical expertise to professional certification level while leveraging your finance domain knowledge.
Core Responsibilities:
* Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for client projects
* Build solutions that replace manual Excel processes and accelerate financial reporting
* Apply proper data modeling, DAX optimization, and BI architecture principles
* Collaborate on solution design and technical delivery
What You Bring
Background & Experience
* Bachelor's degree
in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
* 2+ years practical finance expertise
- hands-on experience with P&L, balance sheets, budgets, variance analysis, and financial close processes
* Self-driven improvement mindset
- you've independently identified reporting inefficiencies and built solutions to address them
* Deadline-driven delivery
- accustomed to working under tight reporting deadlines with accuracy
* English proficiency
- fluent written and verbal communication skills
* Preferred:
Contabilista Certificado or actively working towards certification
Technical Skills
Power BI (Strong Working Knowledge Required)
* Built multiple production Power BI reports independently
* Comfortable with data modeling, relationships, and DAX measures
* Experience with Power Query for data transformation
* Ready to learn advanced techniques and best practices
Excel (Advanced Required)
* Complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query
* Strong financial modeling capabilities
SQL (Working Knowledge Required)
* Write queries to extract and validate data
* Navigate database structures comfortably
