He is looking for a Senior Finance Manager that is highly motivated, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to learn across a wide range of areas. The portfolio of businesses include a highly innovative fintech start-up as well as a professional accounting, tax, and legal firm servicing high-net-worth individuals and corporations globally. This role would have exposure to both businesses. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support the continued growth and success of these businesses. Fluent English language ability (written and spoken) is a must for this role.Job Summary: As the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive tax, finance, accounting, and legal services to a diverse range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, and companies. Ideally you will have a strong background in finance, tax, or legal and be willing to learn in the other areas and "wear various hats". You will also have significant responsibility for helping to scale the fintech start-up and to support day-to-day operations of the company. Across both of these businesses, you will have a keen interest in navigating complex issues.Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax, finance, and legal issues to provide accurate and timely advice to clients. Take the lead with the preparation of financial statements, financial budgets and reports, tax returns, legal documents, and tax and legal advice for international matters. Identify financial, tax, and legal planning opportunities and strategies to help clients achieve their goals. Stay up-to-date on changes in relevant laws and regulations, as well as relevant financial and legal developments, to maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge. Support on operations within the fintech start-up, ensuring smooth integration and collaboration with the professional services division. Support the growth and development of junior employees. Continuously evaluate and assist in the development and implementation of operational processes, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the businesses. Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and effective communication. Contribute to the business marketing efforts and business development initiatives to attract new clients and enhance the business' reputation. Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field. 5+ years of experience, whether this has been within a start-up, law firm, or accounting firm. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. A commitment to providing exceptional client service and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and adapt to change with a high degree of flexibility. Need gravitas and excellent presentation skills and the ability to work independently.
