Environmental Specialist Lead Job Description
The role of Environmental Specialist Lead is a vital part of our team. We are seeking a professional with expertise in environmental sciences and planning to support the implementation of the Guimarães Public Transport Decarbonisation project.
Job Requirements
* A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in environmental sciences, environmental planning, engineering, or an equivalent field.
* Working command of English language (CEFR C1) and Portuguese language.
* At least 15 years' experience in the transport sector, including 12 years of advisory or delivery experience on urban transport plans and projects.
* Specific knowledge and experience in preparing environmental documentation and assessment for transport plans and projects.
* Proven experience in facilitating stakeholder consultations and public participation processes in SEA or urban mobility projects.
Key Skills
* Excellent knowledge of Portuguese SEA legislation and requirements.
* Good knowledge of climate risk assessments and resilience strategies in urban transport planning.
