We are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator Responsibilities: • Provide specialized technical support in Database Administration services (Oracle / MySQL / Exadata), responding to complex problems and queries; • Database management in OCI is a differentiator; • Contribute to the implementation and support of projects involving databases; • Monitor and resolve day-to-day database problems under team management, ensuring optimal performance; • Collaborate with various teams that support software that depends on databases; • Participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements in databases; • Participate in the development of documentation whenever requested; • Follow best practices and security standards established in the provision of database administration services; • Communicate effectively to provide support and collaborate with team members who support Ongoing and projects in which the team is involved; • Solid knowledge of Oracle Database / MySQL / OracleRAC / Dataguard; • Knowledge of Exadata; • Must demonstrate availability and ability to perform ongoing operational tasks, as well as design and implement projects in different database technologies; Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in managing Oracle databases of various versions and MySQL.
• Continuous pursuit of learning and updating knowledge.
Other Qualifications: • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field is a plus; • Relevant Oracle certifications.
Other Requirements: • Language: English, minimum level B1.
Requirements (other): Hybrid - at least two days on site (Lisbon Metro area).
