As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead our migration to .NET 8 and integrate Generative AI into our core product. Travel: national and international expected traveling time: 0‐15% estimated. Responsibilities High‐Scale Development: design and implement robust microservices using .NET 8, focusing on performance, scalability, and clean architecture. Event‐Driven Architecture: build and refine asynchronous workflows using AWS SNS/SQS, ensuring data consistency and system resilience. AI Integration: lead the technical implementation of LLMs into our applications, bridging the gap between .NET backends and Python‐based AI logic. Data Engineering: collaborate on the design of high‐throughput data pipelines using AWS Data Firehose and Data Streams for real‐time processing. Quality & Testing: maintain a high bar for code quality using xUnit and WireMock, ensuring smooth transition to new services and regression‐free releases. Infrastructure Collaboration: work closely with SREs to deploy services via GitHub Actions and manage resources through Terraform. Modern Tooling: leverage GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery while maintaining code security and efficiency. Qualifications .NET Mastery: deep expertise in C# and .NET Core/.NET 8, understanding of framework internals. AWS Native Experience: practical experience building applications that leverage SNS, SQS, S3, and ECS. Distributed Systems: strong understanding of Event‐Driven Architecture and patterns such as Pub/Sub, Competing Consumers, and Idempotency. Caching Excellence: proven experience with Redis or Valkey for state management and performance optimization. AI/ML Curiosity: experience or strong interest in working with LLMs and Python; experience building RAG systems or integrating OpenAI/Anthropic APIs is a plus. Testing Rigor: a test‐first mindset; commitment to unit and integration testing. DevOps Awareness: familiarity with Docker, GitHub Actions, and Terraform; ability to communicate with SREs.
