Job Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Application Support Specialist. As a key member of our support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our business applications. This position requires a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual who can manage and support critical applications in a production environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain application availability and performance.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve incidents and drive long-term solutions.
* Execute change requests and deployments following ITIL and DevOps processes.
* Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth business operations.
* Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 availability of critical applications.
Technical Requirements:
* API, Application Servers & Kubernetes:
* RedHat Jboss EAP 6.4 and 7.0 (administration)
* OpenShift (microservices)
* API Gateway principles
* RHEL Linux OS
* Dynatrace and other monitoring tools (e.g., ELK)
* CI/CD setup & optimization (GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Nexus Sonatype)
* Relational DBs (MSSQL Server; Postgre)
* Cloud environments support
* English fluency
