Pharmaceutical company is hiring a Medical Advisor for a maternity leave.
Your new responsibilities
* Responsible for organizing scientific sessions tailored to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Facilitates strategic, non-promotional scientific engagement with key stakeholders through meaningful two-way exchanges.
* Enhances stakeholder involvement via collaborative discussions that contribute to improved diagnosis (Dx), treatment (Tx), patient journey, and resource optimization.
* Supports the sales team by reinforcing and expanding scientific knowledge.
* Recognized by key stakeholders as a reliable and trusted scientific partner.
* Develops, reviews, and maintains scientific materials for key products, including product monographs, slide kits, and other educational tools.
* Oversees ongoing clinical initiatives such as Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) projects, and coordinates publication strategies.
* Provides medical information support by responding to specific inquiries related to pathologies or the product portfolio.
* Accountable for the scientific and medical content of congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings, ensuring alignment with local strategy.
* Offers support to Market Access teams upon request, based on clinical needs and evidence.
* Ensures full compliance with companies internal guidelines and local regulations, in close collaboration with the Compliance Department.
What do you need to succeed
* Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
* At least two years of experience in relevant roles or functions.
* Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, including market dynamics and the structure of the Portuguese healthcare system.
* Proficiency in medical and scientific communication, with strong skills in delivering presentations and conducting training sessions.
* Foundational knowledge of Marketing, Market Access, and Regulatory affairs, including key processes and requirements.
* Fluency in both Portuguese and English, written and spoken.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across the country.
* Familiarity with the national health ecosystem, including regulations around data generation and clinical study execution.
* A strong ethical compass and commitment to compliance, aligned with industry codes and regulatory standards.

Our client is offering an uncertain term contract during a maternity leave (12 months). Base salary, meal allowance, annual bonus, car and health insurance.
