About The Job
* As part of the Global Banking ESG Transition Office (CETO), within the ESG Development & Operations pillar (EDO), the Sustainability Program Officer promotes the integration of Sustainability into Global Banking activities and decisions.
* Reports hierarchically to the Head of ESG Development & Operations (EDO), which is one of the three pillars of CETO, alongside the Global Banking EMEA Sustainability Office and Climate Analytics & Alignment team.
* The primary focus is on the "Development" activities of the EDO team.
Your Main Activities Are
* Anchoring ESG commitments made by BNP Paribas within the Global Banking (GB) business strategy.
* Supporting the preparation for key ESG committees of Global Banking, including ESG GB Boards (monthly), ESG GB OpCo (quarterly), and ad hoc presentations to GB Management committees.
* Assisting the Chief ESG Transition Officer in meetings, including drafting interview guides and talking points.
* Contributing to thematic research and deep dives on key ESG topics, including packaging ESG expertise across CIB and the Group, conducting investigations and quantitative analysis, and leveraging external data feeds.
* Raising awareness and enhancing ESG knowledge among Coverage stakeholders through collaboration with Sustainability Offices across regions, supporting new initiatives, and collecting feedback to improve resources.
* Supporting ESG Transition Office operations, such as monitoring project budgets, fostering knowledge sharing, and facilitating team meetings.
* Engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including business lines, functions, and various offices such as Finance, RISK, Data Offices, and Strategy.
Profile And Skills To Success
* Master's degree in Management, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
* Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Data Analysis, Management, or Consulting.
* Fluent in English and French.
* Advanced Excel skills.
