We are looking for an Amazing: Application Support
Seniority: +4 years
Type of position: HYBRID (at Porto)
The amazing you, will have:
* Provide advanced (2nd and 3rd line) support for enterprise applications, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents involving applications, integrations, and infrastructure components.
* Monitor system health and performance using enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, Grafana, or similar).
* Manage and maintain application-related databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) including query optimization and performance tuning.
* Support and maintain virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar).
* Develop and maintain automation scripts and maintenance tools in Windows (PowerShell) and Linux (Bash/Python).
* Collaborate with network teams to diagnose connectivity, latency, and security issues.
* Manage tickets and service requests through ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Remedy, etc.), ensuring compliance with SLAs.
* Participate in change management, release deployment, and patching activities.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of procedures, incidents, and configurations.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
