Key Accountabilities
· Test Strategy & Planning:
Define and maintain test strategies, approaches, and standards across projects
Analyse business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and test scenarios
Identify testing risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
· Test Design & Execution:
Create comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
Execute manual tests across web, mobile, CRM, and enterprise platforms
Validate end-to-end business processes and data flows
· Defect Management:
Log, track, prioritise, and retest defects using service desk and DevOps tools
Work closely with developers to investigate root causes and validate fixes
· Quality Assurance Leadership:
Champion quality best practices and continuous improvement
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior testers and business UAT participants
Promote a quality-first mindset across delivery teams
· Test Environment & Data Management:
Coordinate test environments and prepare realistic test data sets
Ensure test readiness and environment stability prior to releases
· UAT Support:
Lead and support User Acceptance Testing activities with business stakeholders
Translate technical changes into clear business test scenarios
Capture feedback and ensure acceptance criteria are met
· Regression & Release Assurance:
Maintain regression test suites and execute them for each release cycle
Provide go/no-go recommendations based on quality metrics and risk assessment
· Documentation & Reporting:
Produce test documentation including test plans, execution reports, defect summaries, and quality dashboards
Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to project stakeholders
· Compliance & Process Alignment:
Ensure testing practices align with internal governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements
· Continuous Improvement:
Review testing outcomes to identify root causes of defects and process gaps
Improve test coverage, efficiency, and overall quality maturity
Essential Criteria
· Strong experience in manual software testing across enterprise systems and digital platforms
· Proven background as a Test Analyst or Senior QA within Agile delivery teams
· Experience translating business requirements into structured test scenarios and cases
· Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies
· Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, FreshService)
· Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
· Strong data validation and system integration testing experience
· Excellent analytical and documentation skills
· Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration ability
Desirable Criteria
· Exposure to test automation frameworks or automated regression suites
· ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
· Experience testing CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, nCino)
· Experience testing mobile applications and APIs
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release processes
· Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
