Experis is recruiting a Senior Manager Firm Finance (m/f) to join the structure of a leading private equity multinational company. This is a full-time job with a hybrid regime, based in Lisbon.
Reporting directly to the Director – Firm Finance, this professional will play a key role in the creation and leadership of a newly established Lisbon-based team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for building and structuring the Firm Finance function, transitioning activities currently performed by external providers in Luxembourg and other EU offices into an internal team.
The role will cover end-to-end responsibilities, including financial control for group entities across multiple jurisdictions, month-end and quarter-end reporting, preparation of Board materials, year-end financial statements and audit coordination, as well as budgeting, forecasting, regulatory and tax compliance. The professional will also be involved in driving transformation initiatives, implementing new systems and processes, and supporting the strategic growth of the business.
Profile:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field;
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent), ideally with a Big 4 background and 7+ years of post-qualification experience;
Professional experience in financial services is required (private equity experience is an advantage, though not mandatory);
Solid technical accounting knowledge, with experience under IFRS (knowledge of US GAAP or Lux GAAP is a plus);
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build, manage and develop a team;
Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret financial data;
Excellent systems knowledge; financial modelling skills are highly valued;
Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and spoken (mandatory).
