We seek a highly skilled and customer-focused IT Senior System Analyst to join our new team in Porto. As a key team member, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operation, providing exceptional technical support to our users, and driving continuous improvement. As an IT Senior System Analyst, you will be responsible for performing systems administration, development, testing, operational support, and deployment of Factory Integration solutions in a systematic way.
In your new role you will:
* Work with international teams on global initiatives
* Perform user requirement engineering, FIT & UAT (including test case creation, and test environment setup)
* Be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining our equipment integration applications
* Be responsible for scripting to ensure efficient data processing
* Drive and proactive problem management in scope, evaluate and deploy new measures/solutions for operational stability improvements
* Implement change request to fulfill user and customer needs
* Provide support to ensure incident tickets are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement
You are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are adaptable, flexible, and willing to learn, with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
* At least 1 to 5 years of experience in a relevant role
* Strong programming skills using Visual Studio with C#, SQL (Oracle)
* Windows and Linux operating systems, shell scripting, Java, Perl
* Experience with Java, Git (especially with version management), and Azure DevOps is an added advantage
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work both independently and as a team player in a global setup
* Fluency in English is mandatory
