We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join the infrastructure team of one of our clients — a key player in the higher education and research ecosystem in Portugal. This is a great opportunity to contribute to impactful digital services used by the academic and scientific community.
* Support users in the adoption of Kubernetes/Rancher, virtualization (OpenStack), and CEPH storage solutions;
* Assist in the development and maintenance of user applications and technical services;
* Contribute to internal infrastructure projects and manage service requests;
* Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems;
* Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or similar field;
* Valuable experience with:
* Virtualization (OpenStack/KVM) and CEPH storage;
* Scripting (Shell script, Ansible);
* Driving license (preferred);
* Knowledge of data centre operations (preferred);
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
