Job Title
As a Regional Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting and providing a competent, effective, and timely payroll function. This role demands adaptability to market needs, a deep understanding of payroll processes, and adeptness at managing high volumes of temporary staffing needs as well as strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Process companies' payroll monthly by gathering, calculating, and inputting data;
* Maintain payroll processing systems and records by ensuring accurate and timely submissions;
* Maintain administrative processes of admissions and dismissals in entities such as Social Security, Compensation Funds, and ACT;
* Compute employee pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes;
* Answer staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records;
* Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and comply with relevant laws;
* Honor confidentiality of employees' records;
* Complete payroll reports for internal record and managerial review regarding payroll, vacations, overtime, and outsourcing/buy-out;
* Complete other legal reports such as 'Relatório Único' and 'Folha de Férias';
Key Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in HR, Administration, or any related field;
2. At least one year of previous experience in the function;
3. Initiative and team spirit;
4. Attention to detail and high organizational capacity, sense of responsibility, and rigor;
5. Ability to handle confidential information;
6. Analytical capacity skills;
7. Knowledge of Portuguese Labor Law;
8. Highly skilled user with spreadsheets (Excel);
9. Knowledge of SAP Payroll system (preferable);
10. Knowledge of GTT software (preferable);
11. Ability to manage work programs and meet deadlines;
12. Portuguese fluency;
13. English fluency (preferable).
