Associated with the Galeries Lafayette group and present in Portugal, in Leiria, La Redoute is looking for a Lead Infrastructure Architect.
As part of our ongoing transformation, we've nearly completed our migration to Azure and are entering a phase of optimization and innovation. We're looking for a Lead Infrastructure Architect to drive this next chapter from our Portugal office, managing a skilled team and shaping the future of our infrastructure.
Your future job
As Lead Infrastructure Architect, you will:
* Lead and grow a team of international infrastructure architects (France/Portugal).
* Design and evolve infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs.
* Drive innovation across cloud platforms, infrastructure services, and architecture practices.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Ops, DevOps, developers and security.
* Own and improve infrastructure services and documentation.
Leadership & Team Management
* Mentor and develop your team members.
* Support hiring, onboarding, and career growth.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Actively contribute to strategic discussions with the COO, CTO, CISO, CDO
Architecture & Delivery
* Translate business needs into scalable infrastructure solutions.
* Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs.
* Structure functional and non-functional requirements.
* Identify possible scenarios regarding the as-is and to-be.
* Propose solutions and recommendations of the trajectory.
* Ensure operational excellence, performance, and cost-efficiency.
* Support the operations team in analyzing and resolving incidents, with a strong emphasis on proactive prevention.
Service Ownership & Documentation
* Define and maintain service roadmaps.
* Ensure up-to-date documentation and knowledge sharing.
* Introduce new services based on evolving needs.

What's expected from you:
Mandatory:
* Management experience
* Fluency in English
* Strong infrastructure architecture background.
* Public Cloud skills & experience (Azure mandatory)
* Broad IT technical knowledge.
* Team-oriented mindset.
Preferred:
* Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
* Experience with:
* Devops tools, languages: Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Vault.
* Cloud & PaaS Providers: Azure, GCP, Aiven, Atlas.
* Azure Services (Hub & Spoke model, AppGW, VMSS, Azure monitor, Azure backup, SQL DB managed instance, Event Hub, VM, Azure functions, …).
* Digital E-Commerce: High traffic management, security, scalability.
* Development platforms and programming languages.
* Agile methodologies.
