Digital platform lead - e-commerce specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our digital presence.

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing our online platforms to achieve revenue growth and enhance the hotel experience.

This role requires a creative mind, strong analytical skills, and a passion for digital marketing and hospitality.


Main Responsibilities:

* Strategic Planning: Participate in the development of the strategic plan, marketing plan, and budgeting process, providing expertise in digital and e-commerce.
* Digital Action Plan: Define and lead the yearly digital action plan covering both direct and indirect channels, aligned with revenue targets.
* Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Revenue Management and Marketing teams to ensure coherence and performance across all e-commerce activities.


Website Management:

* Site Updates: Oversee the updates and maintenance of the hotel website (all.com / brand.com).
* SEO Optimization: Ensure the website is optimized for SEO and offers a seamless user experience.
* Content Updates: Regularly update the site with current offers, promotions, events, and relevant information (rooms, F&B outlets, MICE).


OTAs Management:

* Relationships: Manage relationships with Online Travel Agencies (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.).
* OTA Strategy: Deploy and align the OTA strategy together with the Revenue Manager.
* Listing Optimization: Optimize listings and content across all third-party websites.
* Promotional Tools: Activate and manage promotional tools on OTA platforms


Digital Marketing:

* Strategy Development: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies including SEO, content marketing, and email campaigns focused on Rooms, F&B outlets, and MICE.
* Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms, in collaboration with the marketing team.
* Email Campaigns: Manage email marketing campaigns through third-party tools, aligned with corporate guidelines.
* Reputation Management: Contribute to the hotel's online reputation management and work with Guest Relations to address online feedback promptly.


Social Media Management:

* Strategy Implementation: Coordinate and implement social media strategies (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
* Content Creation: Create, publish, and monitor content across social media platforms


Data Analysis and Reporting:

* Performance Tracking: Track and analyze the performance of digital activities using various analytics tools (Google Analytics, CMS, etc.).
* Campaign Effectiveness: Measure and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and the performance of both direct and indirect channels.
* New Opportunities: Identify new revenue opportunities based on market studies, third-party intelligence, and internal data analysis.


Qualifications:

* Experience: 2 years of experience in marketing and/or communication
* Education: University degree in Marketing and Communication or equivalent
* Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English & Portuguese
* Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook); knowledge of the Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
* Social Media Knowledge: Knowledge of social networks and digital marketing
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
* Industry Experience: Experience in the hospitality industry an asset
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Reliability: Highly responsible and reliable
