As aRegulatory Affairs Specialist with expertise in digital tools, data analysis and regulatory reporting, you will play a key role in supporting European regulatory compliance for coatings and paints. In this flexible hybrid role based in Europe (Spain, Portugal, or Greece), you will work closely with colleagues across R&D, Product Development, Procurement, QHSE, Operations, IT, and Commercial teams, as well as with external stakeholders. ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with EU chemical regulations (REACH, CLP, and related legislation) by maintaining accurate and traceable regulatory data. Manage and maintain regulatory data in digital systems and databases while developing, maintaining, and continuously improving regulatory reports, dashboards, and tracking tools using platforms such as Chemmate, IUCLID, Excel, Power BI, SQL, and internal RA systems. Conduct regulatory screenings and assessments to support product development, reformulation, and change‐management activities. Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation (SDS, labels, product notifications) and evaluate regulatory/HSE data for new raw materials and suppliers. Collaborate across regions to harmonize regulatory processes, support digitalization initiatives, and represent the company in relevant industry associations. QualificationsA university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Data-related scientific fields, or similar with experience working with digital regulatory systems, databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Experience from a Regulatory Affairs role within the chemicals, coatings, or manufacturing industry. Solid knowledge of European chemical legislation, particularly EU REACH and practical product stewardship. Advanced skills in Excel (e.g. structured data handling, pivot tables, formulas); experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a strong advantage. Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage. You bring a structured, analytical, and pragmatic mindset, enabling you to translate complex regulatory data into clear and actionable insights. You are data driven, communicate effectively and collaborate confidently across international and cross‐functional teams, contributing to a strong and connected Regulatory Affairs community.
