Consolidation & Reporting Controller (Maternity Leave Coverage)

The Role
The purpose of this position is to support the Group Consolidation & Reporting team by contributing to all key aspects of their daily responsibilities, mainly participating in the consolidation process on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. The position reports to the Consolidation and Reporting Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly consolidation and reporting process, ensuring intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage a group of countries, assisting them in accounting and reporting matters.
- Review financial reporting packages during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare IFRS and consolidation adjustments.
- Prepare reporting packages for top management and external shareholders.
- Assist in the preparation and publication of annual reports, adhering to guidelines and deadlines.
- Contribute to improving existing reports, processes, and tools used in daily work.
Ad-hoc Projects and Tasks
- Support acquisitions integration.
- Assist in automation of reporting and financial statements.
- Provide technical support and training to countries and corporate functions as needed.
- Prepare specific ad-hoc analyses to support the consolidation team.
- Support the audit process with external auditors.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance and Accounting.
- External audit experience (~4 years), with consolidation experience in an international business being advantageous.
- Exposure to IFRS within an international company.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Pro-active and adaptable approach.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Proficient IT skills (Excel, consolidation, and reporting tools).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
