Because the concept travels and operates in different locations, the team supports both the Lisbon venue and occasional events throughout Portugal.Job DescriptionWe are seeking aEvent Host & Guest Experience Managerto join the core operational team of Dinner in the Sky Portugal. This is afull-time, on-site role based in Lisbon, focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience while ensuring safety and operational excellence during each event. The role combines hospitality, event hosting, and hands-on operational work. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, guiding them through the experience, conducting safety briefings, assisting with seating and harnessing procedures, and maintaining an engaging and positive atmosphere during the event. An important part of this role iscreating a fun and memorable atmosphere for guests. We are looking for someone who naturally brings positive energy to the team and to every group of guests — someone who smiles easily, enjoys interacting with people, and can make guests feel comfortable, excited, and entertained throughout the experience. In addition, the role involves supporting the physical setup and dismantling of the Dinner in the Sky platform and occasionally traveling within Portugal to support events in other locations. Key responsibilities include: Welcome guests and guide them through the Dinner in the Sky experience from arrival to departure. Deliver clear, engaging, and confidentsafety briefingsbefore each session. Assist guests with seating, harnessing, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed. Help manage theflow of guestsduring boarding and disembarkation. Act as a host and entertainer during the experience, creating afun, relaxed, and positive atmospherefor guests. Engage guests with enthusiasm, humor, and friendly conversation throughout the event. Support thephysical setup and dismantlingof the Dinner in the Sky platform and associated equipment. Assist with operational logistics, including equipment preparation and venue organization. Work closely with chefs, crew members, and operations staff to ensure smooth execution of each event. Occasionallytravel to other locations in Portugalto support special events or temporary installations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, working in dynamic environments, and contributing to unique experiences that guests will remember for a lifetime.QualificationsExperience inhospitality, tourism, events, entertainment, or guest experience rolesis strongly preferred. Naturallyfriendly, energetic, and outgoing personalitywith a genuine enthusiasm for working with people. Comfortable speaking to groups and engaging guests in afun, confident, and welcoming way. Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism when managingsafety procedures. Physically fit and comfortable performinghands-on operational work, including lifting and assembling equipment. Comfortableworking at heightsand following strict safety procedures. Willingness totravel occasionally within Portugalto support events in different locations. Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and organized in fast-paced environments. Fluency inEnglish and Portugueseis required; additional languages are an advantage. Previous experience as atour guide, event host, activity instructor, entertainer, or hospitality hostis a strong advantage.
