We are currently looking for a Service Designer to join a young and dynamic Product team, based in Madeira (Portugal).
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and improving end-to-end digital services
and experiences, based on insights obtained through qualitative and quantitative research. The role involves close collaboration with Product, Design, Technology teams and business stakeholders to support strategic decisions grounded in real user needs.
Design and optimize end-to-end services and flows, from discovery through validation and
delivery.
Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research activities (interviews, usability
testing, surveys, desk research, benchmarking).
Own end-to-end research streams, defining hypotheses, objectives, methodologies, and
synthesizing actionable insights.
Actively influence product strategy and roadmap decisions, translating research insights
into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to prioritize improvement opportunities
and new initiatives.
Create and maintain service design artifacts (service blueprints, journey maps, personas,
ecosystem maps).
Ensure proposed solutions consider usability, technical feasibility, business impact, and
compliance.
Support solution validation through user testing and results analysis.
Contribute to a continuous learning, data-informed, and user-centric culture within the
team.
At least 5 years of proven experience in Service Design and UX Research within digital
environments.
Strong knowledge of UX research methodologies and Design Thinking.
Ability to translate user insights into actionable recommendations for product and business.
Experience working in multidisciplinary and international teams, with excellent
communication skills.
