Our Marketing team plays a central role in showcasing Bloq.It's innovative solutions and driving brand awareness in this rapidly evolving space.Role OverviewAs a Video Editor and Storyteller at Bloq.It, you will be responsible for crafting engaging video content to support our marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
There will be product-focused videos but also a lot of interviews and storytelling, docu-style.
This is a full-time editing role, focused on post-production.
No on-site filming is required.
You will collaborate closely with our in-house videographer (who handles video shooting) and other marketing team members to ensure each project meets our creative and brand standards.What Will Be Your ResponsibilitiesVideo Post-Production: Edit, assemble, and enhance raw footage into polished marketing videos, social media clips, and other digital assets.Video Pre-Production: Plan and align each video production with our videographer so that every shot you need in post will be captured on site.New Video Ideas: You will have to bring new ideas to the table, think of great executions that align with our content guidelines and reinforce our brand messaging.Brand Consistency: Maintain Bloq.It's visual identity by applying consistent styling, motion graphics, and branding elements in all video deliverables.Collaborative Workflow: Work closely with our in-house videographer, designers, and content strategists to understand project requirements and deliver on time.Audio & Effects: Add sound effects, music tracks, subtitles, and voice-over elements to produce engaging and informative final outputs.Color Grading & Correction: Ensure videos are visually appealing through appropriate color grading, exposure adjustments, and quality checks.Repurpose existing content: Use the ever-growing video libraries to produce new content, aligned with our content team.Versioning & Localization: Adapt and repurpose video content for different platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
and regional needs.Quality Control: Review final projects for errors, ensuring they meet technical specifications for various media channels.What are the requirements to join us in this positionAt least 3 years of proven Video Editing professional experience: Demonstrable portfolio of marketing or promotional videos showcasing editing skills, transitions, and storytelling.Master storytelling timings: You'll be in charge of creating compelling stories that get the point across in an impactful way, creating engagement.Technical Proficiency: Expertise with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
