Job Title: Software Engineer - Backend
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team. As a backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity of our web applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning new technologies. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP 7.4+ or 8.x
* Experience with modern PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
* Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
* Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend development best practices
* Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
* Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
* Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest, etc.) or manual testing
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
* Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
* Understanding of web security best practices
