POSITION SUMMARY:
Results-driven Account Manager with a strong background in cardiovascular interventional medical devices. Proven track record of
driving sales growth, managing key hospital and clinical accounts, and building long-term relationships with healthcare
professionals. Skilled in launching innovative products, navigating complex procurement processes, and providing clinical support
during procedures. Adept at identifying opportunities, developing strategic account plans, and delivering value-based solutions to
meet customer needs. Passionate about improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge medical technologies and collaborative
partnerships.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage key hospital accounts across Portugal, with a focus on interventional cardiology (cath labs).
* Ensure correct implementation, monitoring, and rotation of consigned medical device inventory.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with all hospital stakeholders.
* Provide in-hospital support including attendance at clinical meetings, training sessions, and technical
* assistance during procedures when necessary.
* Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to penetrate new healthcare
* institutions.
* Follow up on public tenders and collaborate with the market access and pricing teams to prepare
* competitive commercial proposals.
* Monitor account performance metrics and provide regular reporting to the Commercial Director. Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, company quality standards, and ethical business
* practices.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* University degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
SPECIALISED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong communication and influencing skills with both clinical and administrative stakeholders.
* Customer-oriented with a strong focus on achieving results.
* Strategic thinking with solid territory planning capabilities.
