We are seeking a talented individual to join our Insights Center team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Insights Center supports the UK and Europe Finance teams. This role will be mainly focused on supporting either continental European teams or the UK's FP&A activity.We will count on you to: Analyze basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations; Review and conduct simple analysis of financial planning information and reports, and make recommendations for changes to management; Conduct basic audit activities, in order to comply with requirements; Maintain best practices policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards; Communicate with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management; Assist in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year; Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns; Assist in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives; Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; Improve financial planning job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.What you need to have: 3-6 years of relevant business experience; Fluent English level (C1/C2); Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or decisions; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Attention to detail; Show initiative and contribute to a continuous improvement environment; Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel (manipulate big data) and PowerPoint; Highly proficient in data analysis and data extraction and manipulation; Comfortable presenting to regional team members, able to appropriately challenge the team; Proven track record of delivering to deadlines; Active team player with the ability to work across geographies; Be open for new challenges and willing to undertake additional responsibilities.What makes you stand out?
