Our Client, Stolt Sea Farmis a leading international company specialized in the sustainable production of high-quality seafood, with a strong commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and responsible aquaculture.To support its continued growth, the company is looking to incorporate a: SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALISTPlease note that this position will need to be based in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, during the first two years.We are looking for aSustainability Specialistto provide strong technical and analytical support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's sustainability strategy.The role will contribute to the update and execution of the Sustainability Plan and the definition of detailed action plans aligned with the company's internal sustainability framework and applicable international standards.The position will work in close collaboration with the Sustainability Director and other departments, acting as a technical advisor and support function to help integrate sustainability into operations and projects. A key focus of the role will be leading the materiality assessment and supporting the evaluation of the company's environmental, social, and governance impacts.Main responsibilitiesSupport the definition and execution of the materiality assessment process in line with corporate and international standards. Contribute to the update and implementation of the Sustainability Plan and related action plans. Conduct technical and analytical work related to ESG standards (e.g. ESG metrics, ISO 14001 or similar). Prepare technical reports and dashboards to support monitoring of sustainability initiatives. Support compliance with national and international sustainability and governance regulations. Contribute to benchmarking sustainability performance within the aquaculture sector and other relevant sectors. Provide technical advice and support to internal stakeholders. Support external sustainability communications and community engagement activities. Monitor regulatory developments that may impact the sustainability plan and related activities.Profile Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. Master's degree or specialization in Sustainability or related fields is highly valued. Certifications in ESG standards, sustainability reporting, ISO 14001, or similar frameworks are a plus. At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or related roles. Experience with sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks (e.g. CSRD, GRI, carbon footprinting). Experience working cross-functionally with different departments and multidisciplinary teams. Fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese and French are a plus. Good communication skills, pragmatic and flexible approach, easy to work with.What we offer Joining a leading organization within its sector. Professional and multinational working environment.
