Lead Customer Credit Governance
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our customer credit governance function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or economics and proven experience in managing credit risk for customers.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing customer-specific credit policies, managing vendor relationships, addressing critical issues, and guiding analysts on rating frameworks and metrics.
This role plays a key part in crafting and overseeing customer-specific credit risk practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing analysis and evaluation of customer credit risk
* Defining customer-specific credit management policies for the organization
* Supporting credit analyst teams with manual rating frameworks and key indicators
* Serving as the primary contact for addressing complex customer credit concerns brought up by regional teams
* Partnering with Accounting to ensure credit risk data supports IFRS 9 provisioning and broader credit management processes
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
* Strong governance approach with proven ability to create, implement, and oversee customer credit frameworks
* Critical thinking and ability to translate complex credit requirements into scalable, efficient processes
* More than a decade of experience in managing credit risk for customers, ideally within a corporate environment
* Proficient knowledge of financial analysis, credit rating methodologies, and risk management frameworks
