Senior Architectural Visualisation Artist Job Description
This role is ideal for a skilled and experienced artist looking to take their career to the next level in architectural visualisation.
We are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Visualisation Artist to join our team. As a senior member of our visualisation team, you will be responsible for creating photorealistic digital marketing content that showcases proposed buildings, landscapes, interiors, or products for client projects.
The primary clients for this role are architects and real estate developers. The successful candidate will have excellent skills in 3D visualisation, animation, and rendering, as well as experience working with architectural drawings and designing visual content or graphic design layouts.
You will be expected to work closely with other artists to produce and refine content, establish lighting set-ups and compositions, and provide insight and design expertise when needed.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field of architectural visualisation, real estate, interior design, or marketing, and will be proficient in using software such as 3dsmax and Corona. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work effectively in a studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and produce appealing visualisations from client supplied material
* Collaborate with other artists to produce and refine content
* Establish lighting set-ups and compositions
* Provide insight and design expertise when needed
* Achieve photorealistic magazine quality results with rendering engines
* Own and lead projects
* Lead on one project and work on multiple others
* Engage in correspondence with client/design team
* Work with Project Managers to assist on resourcing projects
* Incorporate and adapt content based on feedback
* Additional asset creation (furniture, props etc.)
* Own personal Learning & Development and recording this
* Prepare learning material for Friday showcase sessions
* Provide honest constructive feedback to other Artists
* Contribute to and manage a library of assets
* Develop new techniques and introduce new tools
* Mentor more junior Artists as required
Requirements:
1. Familiar with architectural drawings
2. Experience designing visual content or graphic design layouts
3. Texture/Shader knowledge
4. An understanding of animation, animation rigs and anatomy
5. Experience of working in a studio environment
6. A general understanding of cameras
7. A basic knowledge of the Architecture industry
8. A positive team player
9. 3dsmax experience is desirable/essential
* Extensive Corona knowledge/Familiarity with Corona
You will also have skills and experience in the following:
* Microsoft Office – particularly excel and word at an intermediate level
* Google suite
* Desirable to have familiarity with creative cloud software
