There is an open call for one (1) Research Scholarship ("Bolsa de Investigação") at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of project IberianQCI.

The views expressed in this contribution are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the project nor the Commission.Scientific Area Optics and PhotonicsGroup Optical Quantum Communications – AvAdmission Requirements Research Grants (BI):Are intended for carrying out R&D activities by students enrolled in a doctoral program, aiming to consolidate their scientific training through the development of research work leading to the respective academic degree, whether or not integrated into R&D projects.Are intended for carrying out R&D activities by master's degree holders who are enrolled in non-degree courses that are part of the educational programme of a higher education institution, developed in association or cooperation with one or more R&D units.Candidates must be enrolled in a PhD in the areas of Communication Sciences, Multimedia and Communication Technologies, Information and Communication on Digital Platforms, or related scientific fields, and/or holders of a curriculum that reveals an adequate profile and background for the activity to be developed.
Any publication or experience in any of the skills or topics of the work will be considered a plus.
Experience in organizing and managing scientific research projects, workshops, experience in the field of Communication, namely in managing websites, using social networks, creating blogs, knowledge and experience in writing texts for the dissemination of news and events, will be also considered a plus.Work Objectives The selected candidate will, among other related activities, collaborate to ensure the daily management of the IberianQCI project including elaboration of technical documentation of the project, management and dissemination within the scope of the project, produce the Newsletter, the Weekly Agenda and the Events in Other Institutions and the use of social networks and other digital platforms as an instrument for disseminating project activities.Applicable Legislation A fellowship will be celebrated according to the regulations defined by FCT, "Regulation of Instituto de Telecomunicações' fellowships" and "Estatuto do Bolseiro de Investigação", according to Law no. ********, dated August 28 (Status of Scientific Research Fellow), in its actual redaction, and also by Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P. Fellowship Regulation of Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia.

Place of Work The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at University of Aveiro, under the supervision of Prof. Armando Humberto Moreira Nolasco Pinto.Duration 5 months, with the possibility of renewal.
This type of scholarship has a maximum duration of 4 years.
Start date: March **** or soon thereafter.Monthly Salary *******€ according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by FCT for positions held in Portugal ().

In case of a tie, the tied candidates will be ordered according to C1, then C2.
