Manager, Analytics & Project Management will lead the development and scaling of advanced analytics capabilities to enable precise, customer-centric multichannel engagement across global markets.
What you will do
Lead the development and scaling of advanced analytics capabilities to enable precise, customer-centric multichannel engagement across global markets, driving the identification, integration, and activation of diverse data sources to deliver the right customer, through the right channel, with the right message, content, and timing. Partner with global and regional stakeholders to embed data-driven decision-making into commercial strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs. Shape analytical frameworks, data models, and measurement approaches to optimize engagement effectiveness and business impact, while ensuring data governance and quality across markets with local adaptability.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Field Excellence, and Digital teams to translate business questions into analytical use cases focused on customer targeting, segmentation, and personalization.
Support the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytical models (e.g., segmentation, next-best-action, channel optimization, propensity modeling).
Analyze customer journeys across channels to identify optimization opportunities and provide actionable insights on timing, messaging, and content effectiveness.
Provide input for scalable data products, dashboards, and reporting tools for omnichannel performance and customer behavior.
Partner with Technology and Data Engineering to ensure robust data pipelines and high-quality data integration.
Support experimentation and test-and-learn frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, uplift modeling).
Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and guide data-driven decision making.
Stay current with industry trends, including AI/ML and personalization, translating them into practical applications.
Authority
Provide strategic input to the O-US data and reporting roadmap.
Select and oversee vendors supporting customer engagement and sales reporting capabilities.
Outputs
Actionable insights and recommendations to improve targeting, channel mix, messaging, and timing.
Scalable analytic models and tools enabling data-driven personalization.
Improved engagement metrics and a robust experimentation framework for continuous optimization.
Strong alignment between data, analytics, and business strategy with measurable commercial impact.
What we expect of you
A visionary leader who defines what could be in data strategy while maintaining knowledge of Amgen systems and processes. Demonstrates strong judgment in trade-offs, collaborates with IT, commercial, and medical stakeholders, and is comfortable in analytical environments with understanding of customer engagement platforms, data management, tracking, and ROI analytics.
Minimum Requirements
Academic education or experience from similar positions
More than 5 years in industry; deep experience in pharma sales & marketing, preferably at Amgen
More than 3 years implementing integrated multichannel cross-functional approaches
Documented project management track record
Strong strategic and analytical skills for defining priorities and investments
Fluency in English (oral and written)
Pharmaceutical marketing experience
MS Office proficiency
Tableau advanced developer skills
SQL or database query skills
Preferred Requirements
Over 8 years in leading pharma/biotech company
Experience in affiliate SME leadership role
Over 5 years in project management and outsourcing
Experience in demanding matrix environments with regional/global partnerships
