Job description
Experienced Naval Architect
To work at our representative office, MARMARINE Lda located in Cascais, or possibly in our UK office, developing Nautical Projects for Shipyards, Builders and Tony Castro Ltd, a renown Yacht Design company, now 45 years in business, with numerous projects worldwide designing Pleasure Yachts as well as Commercial and Military vessels, such as Rescue lifeboats, fast interceptors, etc, as well as other types of boats, monohulls or catamarans..
Fluent English and Portuguese languages preferred. Ideally someone experienced and with a M.Sc or Phd Degrees.
Such a Naval Architect should have had experience designing such vessels, competent wit Stability calculations to ISO or Class.
Also to work on Performance analysis, Propulsion and Mechanical Systems Knowledge and experience in Structural design a bonus..
Must be top-top performer with 3D RHINO, A-Class surfaces
ORCA 3D or other stability software.
This person will be required for this full time job from January 2026. Portuguese and English speaking.
