Role Overview
Installation, Service, and support of Rapiscan X-RAY screening systems. This role will have primary responsibility for supporting all X-ray and Trace product lines of Rapiscan systems at the Airports. The role includes but not limited:
Responsibilities
• Installation, commissioning and service support of Rapiscan's X-ray systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on-site.
• Ensure that the technical procedures are followed and PMs and CMs are carried out in accordance with technical recommendations.
• Attends all call-outs.
• Works on shifts pattern to support customer site.
• Ensure that all documentation and service orders are completed correctly and promptly.
• Makes sure to submit service reports and non-conformance reports as required without delay.
• Effectively contribute to the traceability of spare parts and accurate stocks counting.
• Be the site representative of Rapiscan, establishing a strong and trust relationship and responding proactively.
• Learn from the IT Specialists the Server setup and PLC engineers for integration and commissioning and become proficient.
• Guarantee that the systems are permanently accurate and optimized.
• Take part in other departmental ad-hoc duties when required including special projects.
Qualifications
• A strong communication skill with excellent written and oral ability.
• Have excellent ability to trouble-shoot complex systems and logically work through problems.
• Flexible during times of change and reacts to project adjustments promptly and efficiently
• Must be self-motivated and work well under pressure.
• Ability to obtain airport security passes essential (some require a Criminal Record check)
Knowledge, Training and Qualifications:
• An engineering electrical Diploma
• Good English language skills: Spoken, Written and communication. .
• A good general knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, electronics - desirable
