What we're looking for:
* Eligibility for a curricular internship or IEFP professional internship
* Have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management or Human Resources
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Good level of English (written and spoken)
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Positive attitude, responsibility, and professionalism
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Immediate availability is a plus
* Willingness to commute to the office (on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
* Help in verifying timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring correct payment of salaries.
* Enter and update employee information in payroll systems, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
* Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure all data is up-to-date.
* Assist in ensuring payroll processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
* Help prepare and file payroll-related documentation, such as tax forms and reports.
* Support the payroll team in responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, such as discrepancies, deductions, and benefits.
* Provide assistance in explaining payroll policies and procedures to employees.
* Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop knowledge of payroll systems, processes, and compliance.
* Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.
* Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
* Assist with special projects and audits as needed.
