Global DistributionYou will be part of Vestas Service Supply Chain Organization in our Global Distribution. The department consists of a manager and seven transport specialists or professionals. The team works across the Service Supply Chain organization with a focus on the optimization of transport solutions for the Service business.The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are the key to meeting our commitments. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry together with a team of highly motivated colleagues.ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will be working with the entirety of the Service Division's transport flow, both inbound and outbound. Therefore, you will touch upon many stakeholders and work in a diverse role where you will take part in many of the ongoing minor and major matters. Your responsibilities will include:
Identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chainImprove transport cost reduction across the Service Supply ChainCollaborate with multiple stakeholders, ensuring operations run smoothlyOversee and work closely with carriers and be their point of contactEnable delivery performance improvementsSecure service requirements in the transport and support daily transport and customs operations Qualifications
5 years of operational experience working with International Transport Solutions within global logistics, transport, or customsRelevant background within transport and customs or supply chain managementSAP experienceFluency in English (written and spoken) Competencies
