We are hiring Sales Operations Analysts to join a team of experts supporting Canonical's sales teams. The Sales Operations team focuses on process and data quality improvements to ensure accurate order processing. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, maintain compliance, and support governance, aiming to increase deal velocity and enhance CRM data quality for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, a team player, and passionate about open source technology and enterprise innovation.
Location: These roles are remote within the EMEA and Americas regions.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Support daily operations of the global sales function.
2. Review opportunities for accuracy and process orders post-deal closure.
3. Assist the Sales Operations Manager in improving sales data quality and processes.
4. Report data quality metrics to executive stakeholders.
5. Implement surveys and define relevant metrics for leadership.
6. Support global sales teams with CRM and other systems.
7. Deliver sales metrics, dashboards, and perform ad-hoc analyses.
8. Lead automation initiatives and streamline the Lead to Order process.
Candidate Profile:
1. Strong academic background from high school and university.
2. Experience in sales operations or order processing roles.
3. Experience in a subscription-based technology business.
4. Proven ability to improve data quality.
5. Energetic, systematic, and focused on scalable outcomes.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels globally.
8. Strong communication skills, especially across functions like Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.
9. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
10. Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
