Overview
Regulatory Project Manager for Credit Risk Reporting role at BNP Paribas CIB, based in Lisbon with the Standards and Controls (S&C) - Standards Implementation Office (SIO) team, within the Prudential & Regulatory Project Implementation (PRPI) group responsible for implementing prudential projects in Finance & Strategy, in close collaboration with RISK teams.
Responsibilities
* Manage COREP / Pillar 3 reporting projects, implementing regulatory changes following the publication of Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) and ESG regulatory reporting requirements covering the Group scope.
* Coordinate these regulatory projects, handling project organization, minutes taking, support material preparation, participating in Steering Committees, and following up on action plans and roadmaps.
* Propose appropriate solutions within the project framework, working on the operational insertion of these solutions with the Group's RISK, Finance, IT and COO teams and operating entities.
* Work closely with the various work streams and clearly communicate the expected developments and their operational insertion in the updated processes.
* Prepare, organize and coordinate workshops and steering committees for projects within scope.
Profile And Skills To Success
* At least 3 years of professional experience in Regulatory topics, accounting or reporting matters, ideally with project management exposure.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
* Experience in piloting operational production, strong computer skills and control of production operations.
* Fluent English, verbal and written.
* Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to synthesize and to simplify information.
* Analytical ability.
* Proactivity.
About The Team
* The Standards & Controls Department monitors the evolution in accounting, performance management, prudential and reporting standards and provides regulatory oversight.
* It is divided into four branches, including the Standards Implementation Office with four teams: Accounting Standards Project Implementation (ASPI); Prudential & Regulatory Project Implementation (PRPI); Liquidity & Resolution Project Implementation (LRPI); and Controls & Data Remediation Project Implementation (CCRR).
